Gali Gold has championed women filmmakers and filmmaking throughout her career, focusing her PhD on documentaries made by women filmmakers, advocating women’s films as Head of Programme at Birds Eye View Film Festival and ensuring visibility of women in film in her current role as a Film Curator at the Barbican.
