Sorta Kinda Maybe Yeah is a female film collective founded by Charlotte Lowdell, Aya Arden-Clarke and Laura Kirwan-Ashman. It was started as a response to the lack of diverse, relatable, female-centric content and as a way of tackling the straight, white, male dominance of the film and television industries. The aim is to create space for women looking to create work, gain experience, and skill-share in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. They have a zero-budget, DIY approach to filmmaking where they embrace messing up, facing fears and where there are no stupid questions. Their first project is a comedy web series of the same name which has been shown at Brainchild Festival, Floating Cinema, Hackney Attic Film Festival, and Underwire Festival.
