DOTT aims to connect and inspire up-and-coming female filmmakers in the UK. They know how hard it is to get your foot in the door and meet like-minded individuals with whom to discuss and collaborate. They also know how tedious and excruciating ‘networking events’ can be, so they have set up a programme of events for filmmakers to gather on a regular basis and connect in a fun, casual, relaxing way. From large-scale Q&As with top directors, producers and actors, to intimate workshops with writers, production teams, and professionals from across the industry – from hair and makeup to post-production and VFX – they give members the opportunity to meet and collaborate with a wide range of people.
